The Team Coaching helped align our team values with our company values

Recently, team members have struggled to understand where their company is heading. There was disagreement about the direction in which it should move. Team members had different ideas about how to achieve their goals and there was some confusion about how their individual tasks fitted in with the overall company values.

To address these challenges and bring the team in line with the company values, the department head decided to seek specialised team coaching. The aim was to define the team goals and values and ensure that each team member understood how their role contributed to achieving these goals while reflecting the company values. During the coaching, team members were encouraged to reflect on and share their personal values and goals. Together, they then developed team goals that were in line with the company values. Each team member was actively involved in the process to ensure that their individual contributions contributed to the success of the team and the organisation.

Through this joint reflection and discussion, the team members were able to overcome their differences and develop a clear vision for their common goals. They recognised how their individual strengths and perspectives could help move the team forward while reflecting the values of the company. "Silo thinking has little to do with teamwork." With the team goals and values redefined, the team returned to their working environment. Team members were motivated and committed to working together to achieve their goals and realise the company's vision. Team performance improved as everyone now knew how they could contribute to achieving the common goals while upholding the values of the organisation.

The team coaching not only had a positive impact on the team's collaboration and productivity, but also strengthened trust and connectedness among the team members. They felt inspired and empowered to pull together to achieve the common goals and live the company values.
