Team Coaching

Thanks to Team Coaching, we have a good team culture again

Claudia was part of a team in a medium-sized company. Despite the success of the company and the individual performance of the team members, she felt that something was missing. There was a certain lack of clarity about the identity of the team and its role within the organisation. Team members had different ideas about what their identity as a team should be, and there was a lack of a clear vision and common goals. This often led to misunderstandings, conflicts and ineffective collaboration.

To address these challenges and gain clarity on team identity, the team decided to undergo intensive team coaching. They not only wanted to recognise their individual strengths and weaknesses, but also find out what made them unique as a team and how they could best work together. As part of the coaching, the team members were encouraged to share their visions, values and goals. Together, they reflected on their previous collaboration, identified common challenges and developed strategies to overcome them. Through these processes, they gained clarity about their team identity. They defined their common goals, values and norms and developed a strong sense of togetherness. Each team member now understood their role and responsibilities within the team and felt motivated to work together to achieve their goals.

With the newfound clarity about their identity and goals, the team returned to their work environment stronger. Team members worked together more effectively, communication improved and team performance increased significantly. It was more fun to be part of this team. The team coaching not only had a positive impact on the team's collaboration and productivity. Individual team members were able to meet each other at eye level and learnt a lot about themselves as individuals. The team coach is not only there for the team, but also for each individual who wants to develop further. Positive change is always a choice.
