When you visit our website, information about the access (date, time, page viewed) may be stored on our server. This data is not used to identify individual persons and does not constitute an evaluation of personal data (such as name, address or e-mail address) unless you expressly provide this information. We only collect personal data with your prior consent. Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.

Please note that the transmission of data on the Internet, e.g. by e-mail, may be subject to security vulnerabilities. It is therefore not possible to completely protect your data from access by third parties. We accept no liability for damage caused by such security gaps.

The use of the contact data published within the scope of the imprint obligation by third parties for advertising purposes is hereby expressly prohibited. We reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam e-mails.

  • Your contact information (such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail address)
  • Billing and payment information
  • Information that you provide to us to process your order
  • Other relevant information that you provide to us.

This data processing is carried out as part of our service provision in order to ensure efficient interaction with you, to process your order in the best possible way, to communicate with you, to invoice services provided and to manage the customer relationship. The legal basis for the processing of personal data for these purposes is the implementation of pre-contractual measures and the performance of a contract in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Cookies
We use cookies, which are pieces of information that your web browser stores on your hard disk or in your working memory when you visit our websites. Cookies receive identification numbers through which your browser is recognized and enable the information they contain to be read.

These cookies help to make your visit to our websites more pleasant and efficient. We use cookies for various purposes that are technically necessary for your desired use of the website. For example, cookies perform other technical functions that are necessary for the operation of the website, such as load balancing to distribute the performance load evenly across different web servers in order to reduce the load on the servers. In addition, cookies enable the design and programming of our website, including the uploading of scripts or codes.

The legal basis for this data processing arises from our legitimate interest pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in providing a user-friendly and up-to-date website.

Most Internet browsers accept cookies automatically. However, you may be able to configure your browser settings so that no cookies are stored on your end device or so that you are notified when new cookies are received. You can find more information on configuring cookie processing in selected browsers on the following pages:

Please note that deactivating cookies may mean that you cannot use all the functions of our website.

General information on tracking, web analysis and other tools
We use the web analysis services listed below for the purpose of designing our website in line with requirements and continuously optimizing it. As part of this use, pseudonymized user profiles are created and cookies are used. The information generated by these cookies about your use of our website, including the log file data listed in section 3, is generally transmitted to a server of the service provider, where it is stored and processed. It may also be transferred to servers abroad, for example in the USA.

By processing this data, we receive the following information, among other things.

The navigation path followed by a visitor on the website (including content viewed and products selected or purchased)

  • The time spent on the website or a specific subpage
  • The subpage from which the website is left
  • The country, region or city from which access is made
  • Information about the end device (type, version, color depth, resolution, width and height of the browser window)
  • The distinction between returning and new visitors

The service provider will use this information on our behalf to analyze the use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for us and to provide other services relating to web and internet usage, in particular for market research purposes and to improve our website.

The legal basis for this data processing by the tools listed below is your consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You can withdraw your consent or object to the processing at any time by rejecting or deactivating the relevant cookies in your web browser settings or by using the service-specific options described below.

Please note that the data protection information of the provider applies to the further processing of the data by the respective service provider as the controller under data protection law, in particular for any disclosure of this information to third parties such as authorities due to national legal regulations.

Google Analytics

We use the web analysis service Google Analytics from Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland) or Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) (hereinafter referred to as "Google"). The data described in section 14.1 on the use of the website may be transmitted to Google's servers in the USA for the purposes explained there.

Users have the option of preventing Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to their use of the website (including the IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in. Further information on data protection at Google can be found here.

YouTube and Vimeo

We integrate plugins from the video portal YouTube, which is operated by YouTube LLC (901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA) (hereinafter referred to as "YouTube"), on our websites. YouTube is a subsidiary of Google. When you access a page that offers one or more YouTube video clips, a direct connection is established between your browser and a YouTube server in the USA. This stores information about your visit and your IP address. By interacting with the YouTube plugins (e.g. clicking the start button), this information is also transmitted to YouTube and stored by YouTube. Further details on the collection and use of your data by YouTube can be found in YouTube's or Google's privacy policy.

The legal basis for the processing of your data for this purpose is our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

If you have a YouTube user account and do not want YouTube to collect data about you via this website and link it to your membership data stored with YouTube, you must log out of YouTube before visiting this website.

In addition, YouTube calls up the Google Analytics analysis tool (see section 7) via an iFrame in which the video is played. This is YouTube's own tracking tool, to which we have no access. You can prevent tracking by Google Analytics by using the deactivation tools that Google offers for some browsers.

Social media

Our website contains links to our profiles on the following social networks:

  • Meta Platforms Inc, 1601 S California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA; and
  • LinkedIn Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland.

If you click on the social network icons, you will be automatically redirected to our profile on the respective platform. This establishes a direct connection between your browser and the server of the relevant social network. As a result, the network receives the information that you have visited our websites with your IP address and clicked on the link.

If you click on a link to a network while you are logged into your user account with that network, the content of our website may be linked to your profile so that the network can associate your visit to our websites directly with your account. To prevent this, you should log out of your user account before clicking on the relevant links. A connection between your access to our websites and your user account will always be established if you log in to the relevant network after clicking on the link.

The respective provider is responsible under data protection law for the associated data processing. Please therefore refer to the data protection information on the network's website.

The legal basis for any processing attributable to us is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR in the use and advertising of our social media presences.

Possible data transfer

Cooperation and data sharing

In order to be able to provide our services in full, we work together with various companies. In certain cases, it is necessary to pass on your personal data to these companies in order to fulfill the service you have requested. This transfer takes place exclusively in the context of contract fulfillment in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

Furthermore, we pass on data to selected service providers insofar as this is necessary for the provision of the service. This transfer is based on our legitimate interest in the use of third-party services in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

In certain cases, it may be necessary to disclose your data to authorities, legal advisors or debt collection agencies, either due to legal obligations or to protect our rights, in particular to enforce claims against you. These data transfers are based on our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR."

International data transfer

We may be required to transfer your personal data to third parties abroad in order to carry out certain data processing in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We ensure that all legal provisions regarding the disclosure of personal data to third parties are complied with. If the level of data protection in the country in question is not appropriate, appropriate protective measures are guaranteed by contractual agreements to ensure the security of your data with these companies.
